If Callaway isn’t in the running for OC, and he may not be due to his age and experience, the HE needs to get that on-field position. If he’s the one who’s been working with the QBs this season like everyone says, then he deserves the promotion to keep him here. A guy with OC experience and who can help young QBs improve will be invaluable over the next couple of seasons with Max, Nuss and Howard on board.

That was during the downfall of the Hudspeth era though, it’s rumored Hud started basically a RB (Nixon) at QB instead of Brooks Haack due to locker room politics instigated by the former QB (Broadway).

By that time, the inmates were running the asylum for lack of a better phrase.

I think he’s definitely worthy of a PGC position, but he should definitely work on his chops at OC at an established G5 program before being handed over that much responsibility.
