This. KU is a joke compared to Stanford. No one in their right mind would leave Stanford for KU. Now, Stanford's fundraising capabilities may take a minor hit what w/ Tiger's girfriend issues, but still no contest.

quote:

Stanford was the top fund-raising university in the United States for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008 with $785 million.[82]

The university's endowment, managed by the Stanford Management Company, was valued at $17.2 billion in 2008 and had achieved an annualized rate of return of 15.1% since 1998.[37][83] In the economic downturn of January 2009, however, the endowment has dropped 20 to 30 percent.[84] According to the San Francisco Chronicle, "Stanford's endowment has lost approximately $4 billion to $5 billion, or 20 to 30 percent of its value," since 2008. As a result, all campus units are cutting their budgets by 15 percent in 2009.[85]

quote:

In FY09, KU Endowment’s support for KU totaled $105.4 million. Support for most purposes actually rose. The only drop was in facilities support, which is impacted by the timing of large construction projects. Since our founding in 1891, we have provided $1.6 billion in support to the university.

Stanford is a much better gig than Kansas. He would be a fool to go to Kansas and won't.

Tuberville and Fulmer are reportedly on "the list," but take that with a grain of salt.

KU's got the money to get a prime candidate, and they've upgraded the facilities. I doubt any of you morons commenting on the subject have ever been to Lawrence, but it's not that bad of a place to be.

His wife is from KC and would love nothing more than to be back in the Midwest.

I'm not saying he's coming or not. Do I think he'd be a fool to leave Stanford for KU? Yes. He's set over there, and the Big XII North is playing second fiddle to the South, and will be for years to come.

They can 'target' Harbaugh all they want.

Harbaugh can probably have the Notre Dame job if he wants it.
He smashed USC and put mustard on it with a 2 pt conversion while leading by a bazillion.

Brilliant, you dumbass.

I bet Urban Meyer would be a great fit at Arkansas State, too.

I heard Stanford's academic requirements are almost as bad as ND. Must be hard to recruit if that's the case.

I dont think he will go to Kansas, but is Stanford a better job?

Kansas=
4 OOC games
Kansas State
Iowa State
Colorado
Nebraska
Mizzou

if you are a good coach that is atleast 7 wins

&
3 Big South games

To me that is a lot easier than 9 PAC-10 games + Notre Dame, and another BCS team (Wake)

Have you asked her about this? Louisiana is not ideal in many ways, I admit that, but I've been to Palo Alto and Kansas. No one in their right mind would rather be back in Kansas, especially not when they can afford to fly home/fly family out whenever they desire.

I love coaching change memes. "Would love nothing more than to be back in the midwest."

It's common knowledge among alumni that know her, dumb arse. Thanks again for playing and showing your ignorance. You people never cease to amaze me.

Wouldn't call Nebraska an easy win anymore. Bo has turned it around up there.
