Damn... He knows. Somebody needs to take this Carr out for a long drive if you get my drift.

Given the tone and the tenor of the article----Carr saying "If I had a choice, I would choose Jim Harbaugh. But it will be Jim Hackett's decision, and that is as it should be.", and Brian Griese saying essentially “I know the names being considered at this point but don’t want to muck up Jim Hackett’s process”---I take the fact that Harbaugh is the only name mentioned to mean he’s an extreme long shot.

I mean, might as well mention Bill Belichick is your favorite if there’s little to no chance of him taking the job. Given this, the fact that Miles isn’t mentioned yet is widely considered to be a second choice among fans for the position can mean he is, in fact, on Jim Hackett’s “to do” list.

it is Harbaugh's job to turn down...duh...I bet David shaw is in play. And les is an option. But les is probably lower on the list because of age. Just not sure why any successful NFL coach (eg, Harbaugh and Tomlin) would consider.

Shaw makes sense, that’s for sure. It makes sense to me that Harbaugh would recommend Shaw to Hackett or would say to Shaw, “Great job, but I want to stay in the pros. Why don’t you and your agent look into this”, or something to that effect.

I'll be shocked if Michigan offers Miles the job.

They obviously feel that they can do better

Appears so

But I'm beginning to feel he wouldn't leave regardless. UM is going to end up making another "meh" hire and they will deserve all the L's that brings with it.

I'm in the sorry we're not losing our coach crowd. While I held out hope he would leave I don't think it will happen. And frankly why would Michigan want him. He's a very average coach who cannot develop QBs, manage a clock, or make adjustments.
