That would be a good fit!

These guys sure were talking as if the Florida state job very well could open up...

Morbidly obese Bert and his hot wife should be back in the B1G. But, all of the corn fans say Frost is locked up, so...

He can suggest all he wants, he has even less of a clue than the general public.

I really don't get how Bert pulls that job. The whole "He was once in the BIG TEN" argument is weak as well.

his brand of football, offensively, would be well received by most there... defensively, if he hires a good DC, one that can get some big bodies up front, like they are accustomed to seeing, it would help his cause tremendously, as well....

would be a pretty good fit, but Frost seems to be the hot name right now... personally, Frost should wait a year, build on the UCF undefeated (if they get there) season, and parlay that into a huge job, rather than pulling a PJ Fleck and going from a non-power 5, to a bottom feeder power 5 job....

Yep, if Nebraska shits the bed and doesn't hire Frost then they don't deserve to ever make it back.

I would take a year off, if I was him, to focus on his family and his health. Then ideally the Kansas State job will open up and he can go back to where his career started and take over for Snyder.

Frost was offered a contract extension at UCF 3 weeks ago that he hasn’t signed. He turned down the Florida job. Reports yesterday were that UCF assistants were starting to pack up their offices. Frost could’ve ended all speculation and signed his extension weeks ago if he was staying. He is making a move, and Nebraska seems to be the only realistic option. He will be the next Nebraska coach

Just like Frost has already agreed to the contract with Nebraska

Lol... Scott’s a different cat but no one turns down Florida and Nebraska head coaching jobs to stay at UCF. Just repeat that out loud to yourself and you’ll laugh. Assuming he wins this weekend, he’ll have taken UCF as far as they can possibly go with a 4 team playoff format. Why would he stay??

What if the Nebraska job is not as great as Nebraska fans think it is?

It’s still a much better job than UCF... that’s not up for debate. Superior facilities and fan base, UCF can’t compete with the money, plus it’s his alma mater and he’ll be considered the savior day one. What does UCF offer besides proximity to recruiting? (Nebraska has been a top 30 class for 10 years, UCF has been top 60 despite being in a hotbed)

Job security.
Nebraska fired Bo Pelini afterall.
Nebraska fans have expectations that no longer cam be met. Like you said Nebraska has been horrible for 20 plus years. Even though during that stretch they have won 10 games.

Frost did turn down Nebraska out of HS when he commited to Stanford.
