USC only had about the 3 less rush attempts per game than 2019 LSU. The problem is the yards per attempt was abysmal.

Would be huge to get Harrell for a couple of years and let Callaway move into the role.

Farg No!
They don't run the ball and all I see is finesse that will get overpowered by SEC caliber athletes with solid technique. Think Cowboys vs Steel Curtain!

Exactly Linehan had a great interview too and looked how that turned out. The shrimp boat captain doesn’t know X&O’s so anything that graham said probably wowed his mind into believing he’s the right guy. I believe callaway is the guy for the job. We don’t need some air raid one trick pony offense in Baton Rouge

You’d be hard pressed to find a worse comparison for this potential hire than this

I mean I like Harrell. Wasn’t he going to be the interim had USC fired Helton?

I don’t know if he is comping him.. per say.

Interviewing in football is cool to see if you gel as people. It’s another to hire somebody because you gel.

They are running him out of USC because they can’t run the ball..............................................

He has accomplished nothing to warrant this job.

Im with you.

Harrell thinks his offense is better than it is

This proves to me that coach ensminger really stepped down. They could've just kept him with joe brady's passing game and it would be better than harrell

I watch almost all their games because of a personal connection and they can’t run the ball because their backs and lineman are garbage. Harrell tries to run and stay balanced.

Do not want an Air raid offense. Want a creative running attack to complement what we already have. Hope he’s a bad interviewer lol

Look like USC fans want Helton and Harrell gone.

USA Today article posted a few days ago about how his offense lacks diversity and struggled to run the ball.

Blaming personnel is a poor excuse. They have had some of the best recruiting classes in their conference.

It’s a coaching problem.

Sure fricking hope not, because somehow, some way, Scott Linehan impressed. Suppose you have to consider who it is that is impressed.

I don’t mind this hire really but I hope they elevate Calloway to PGC with it. Harrel has never had the talent like he would at LSU running the air raid but I would think O would want him to run the ball more also.

This makes me feel a tad better, because I would be concerned with the run game.

Other than that, and that’s potentially a huge negative...I am okay with that hire...young/ambitious/Texas/creative ...definitely checks a couple boxes.

I could get behind this hire and could definitely see it being successful and him becoming Tech’s next HC and Calloway taking over
