Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports there's a "pretty good chance" coach John Fox gets fired if the Broncos lose to the Colts on Sunday. FOX Sports' Jay Glazer had a similar "report" earlier in the morning, but it was extremely flimsy. Per Glazer, "there's a thought if (the Broncos) lose today, could Fox become available? If he is, he shoots to the top of lists." Despite winning the AFC West in each of his four seasons as Denver's coach, Fox has been unable to deliver a championship. The Broncos lost in the Divisional Round in each of 2011 and 2012 before getting destroyed by the Seahawks in the Super Bowl last year. Fox would still be in high demand if he hit the open market.

I don't understand who they think they're gonna get that's better. Also I don't see Peyton being down with breaking in a new coach

yet another answer for when people ask, "why would a NFL DC take the same job in college?"

because life as an NFL coach sucks. you can get fired for any reason, even if you go to a superbowl and the NFC title game 3 times in your first 3 years. Sumlin just went 11-2, then 9-4, then 8-5, and hes got at least another 2 years before TAM would make a move.

I think Fox loses on purpose to hurry up before the LSU DC job gets filled.

Yea makes perfect sense.

The only way Fox goes is if Payton says so...I think he likes Fox a lot

Payton is the OC and Del Rio is DC....just cannot see it....Fox has won everywhere he goes...not his fault that Payton gimpy this year

Wow that would be a stupid move by the Broncos. Fox has made some bone headed decisions but he is a good coach.

Eh, he's an average coach with a good team.

As a Broncos fan, I wouldn't miss him. He's not going to last very long post-Manning anyway.
