I seriously doubt those rumors were true.
Because it doesn't support your anti-Miles argument?

If they conducted a poll nationwide of the top 5 college coaches you think Miles would get ranked in the top 5? Why can't you Miles lovers admit that he is not highly regarded nationally?
Top 5, probably not. Top 10, absolutely.

Why can't the Miles haters admit his success?

not if you look at the coaches he followed....which im sure you didn't

Well Gundy has improved on the "foundation" Miles built at OSU....Does that mean gundy is a better coach?

Why doesn't he have suiters every year

He was a risky hire when LSU hired him and despite his success that hasn't changed when it comes to elite universities....this includes Michigan.

You just don't know what you are going to get....especially given the fact that the Michigan AD has to know that Miles won't get the athletes in Michigan that he gets here.

Miles has NEVER built a program....and don't come here with that bs he was 28-21 at OSU.....that is mediocre at best
I guess Harbaugh has never built a program either since his record at Stanford is 29–21.

His ability to win games here is the 9th wonder of the world, and I recognize that.

I will say it again as I have many different times. Miles has done a great job at LSU. He has recruited well and the players love him.

Based on his coaching career why does what he has done at LSU make him a great coach in yall's eyes? He wasn't a recruiting guru at OSU but he comes to LSU and is....why can't you Miles lovers see that this could possibly be more of a result of things Dinardo and Saban did (first ones that started locking down the in state talent and Saban built LSU into a true winner) But yall seem to want to give Miles ultimate credit and that the facilities that Saban improved and built along with proving that LSU could be a powerhouse have nothing to do with recruits choosing ALSU today.

2000-2004: 48–16 with 1 NC
2005-2010: 61–17 with 1 NC

Also, the SEC-W was much more difficult in 2005-2010 than in 2000-2004.

Cutcliffe/Ogeron at Ole Miss instead of Nutt
Nutt at Arkansas instead of Petrino
Shula at Bama instead of Saban
Croom at MSU instead of Mullin

Also, during 2006-2009 a SEC team won the NC. The same can't be said for 2000-2004.
