Franklin and PSU just announced an extension about 20 minutes ago. Jimmy Sexton is playing up Ole Miss' interest in Norvell to drive the price up, which is fair because Ole Miss will pay Norvell a nice chunk too.

So what happens if Norvell isn't hire at FSU. He has let it be known that he wasn't interested in OM or AR unless FSU didn't happen. What if OM and AR ban together to hire elsewhere and leave Norvell wanting... Or one of us hires him for less than we offer Kiff.

Could you imagine Ole Miss, Arkansas, and FSU in a 3 way bidding war for Kiffin? All of a sudden Kiffin is back at the big boy table and one of the ten highest paid coaches in football.

Yeah, I didn’t know Franklin was off the table when I posted that. Memphis is better off finding the next up and comer and using that money to continue to build and improve their facilities. They aren’t cut out to play those games.
