Fwiw, Norvell is going to kill it in Tallahassee

I hope you are right.

But , I get the feeling he's going to be a 9-3 or 8-4 at best. That doesn't cut it.

Norvell will do fine in the ACC.

Ole Miss will get Napier and he'll do a good job. He's one of the few that have worked for Dabo and Saban and that alone increases his appeal to recruits.

Which is why I think he could end up at OM.

Money is nearly the same, but far less pressure. He’s FSU 4th or 5th choice, so they won’t like overspending, and if they do over spend, they’ll expect Playoffs by year two.

At OM, if he make roughly the same $, and get praised going 8-4,9-3. And if he does that for a few years at OM, he can always move up to blue blood for even higher $$

I don't disagree with this.

Also factoring in his familiarity with the Oxford and the mid south region, versus starting over completely in tallahasse.

Hiring Odell would mean giving up on the program

Wasting $30 million on Norvell will be the end of the program.

Boosters aren't going to bail out the idiots in administration again.

They agreed to bail them out on the Taggart hire.

Lots of swings and misses in this thread. Don't think there was even 1 Kiffin to Ole Miss prediction except one guy sharing a report that Kiffin had interest in Ole Miss.
