If you think kelly is bad coach you're an idiot...
He would kill it at LSU...The guy is a top notch coach, i can't imagine how good he can be with LSU talent.
Put Kirby on ND...the guy would be lucky to go 8-4

He's a decent coach but that isn't going to work in the SEC. Also, all these over hype words like "kill it" will eventually lead to disappointment.

Thank you. I’ve been saying this. He is head and shoulders above the two previous coaches we have had. He would be a great hire. People on this board are not the brightest sometimes. Well most of the time.

Let me tell you something. Regardless of the hire, even if it's Saban, some people will rant about something.

what 4 teams on ND's shoddy schedule would Kirby lose to that Kelly didn't? ...I suppose if Kelly can lose to Cincy with superior depth and talent, Kirby can also.. but who else? Would you suggest that Kirby would have lost to Toledo this year instead of narrowly escaping them by a FG? Would Kirby have lost to FSU in OT whereas "killer" Kelly beat them in OT?
