Freeman vs Kelly

Previously people have wondered if Kelly is difficult to work for. Seeing how he has been somewhat of a horse's @ss on the sidelines or in an occasional interview, it would be natural to think he is a difficult boss to work for.
If this was the case how is he pulling coaches from his ND staff? Are these coaches following Kelly versus Freeman because they see Kelly as the better coach and a chance to win a title? Or are they strictly following the money.
Freeman seems like a great guy. Players love him for sure, and he seems like a good guy. Put when the rubber meets the road, I think seeing Kelly pull some of his staff with him says a lot about Kelly and what they see as potential here at LSU in the immediate future.

I see your point, but it's not like he's bringing his OC and DC. Though, Freeman was ready to follow him if not promoted to HC.
He's bringing the assistant S&C coach, the director of nutrition, and special teams coach? They're probably good at their jobs but let's not act like it's something groundbreaking.
Barring what happens with OC and DC, hiring Frank Wilson will be the best move he makes.
Tangentially related to your post: I'm excited to have a coach with some fire. I don't care if he's an a-hole sometimes. Better than eating grass and talking in circles or talking in platitudes.

That assistant strength coach is coming crom under the Saban of strength coaches. It’s a solid hire.
