Franklin = Mediocre Ceiling

Franklin has a medium-to-low ceiling. We will win 8-10 games consistently but will never rival the likes of Bama and Georgia in the conference. We need a high ceiling coach. The Franklin excitement blows my mind in this regard. He runs an outdated offenses which will not cut it in the SEC.

Neither do I. I almost bought some of the hype as well, but his offense is uninspiring. And now people are making excuses he doesn't have QBs. Gee, whose fault is that?

Franklin can be great in the proper environment. The Stanfords' of CFB. Great as in consistently top 15

It would just be LSU hiring another former Vandy coach. the last one lost his last game 65-0 before we hired him. LSU struggles with this, often thinking paying a lot of money fixes everything. It doesn't. LSU needs energy, enthusiasm, imagination and good coaching genes and history. I am afraid we are going to put 'wokeness' at the top of our needs, and that will bury us for another five years and 50 million dollars. LSU has proven to not be very smart and I am not confident that Woody can change that mentality or even if he wants to.
