By all recruits, do you mean Anthony Johnson? LSU basically gets all La recruits anyway...

This.
Ball protection drills and footwork drills. Know the play book, get faster/stronger(moffit), and run hard. Let your ability take over.

Well he and Rasco seem the most likely to leave right now but it would very nice to have all of them especially Johnson since he'll probably be the 2nd highest rated behind Collins.

I would love to get Johnson and Rasco, as well. Hopefully, it all works out.

Haven't thought of this, but do you think LSU is trying to get him at WR coach. If we got him and Robinson for RB's from Miami .
Would lock down Louisiana and give us connections in South Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee. We already have tons of connections on the east coast and will always have some in Texas. Would be huge for recruiting.

What evidence does anyone have about Wilson being dirty? Les knows his job is on the line and isn't going to hire anyone that is a risk, especially with the latest allegations.

Well, for one thing, Wilson coached RBs who gained 1000+ yards in 3 of his first 4 years as an assistant in the college ranks.

The only year he didn't was his first year at Ole Miss where their talent was still pretty bad.

I am not saying he can or can't coach, but the numbers show otherwise.

Not really, I talked to Frank about that, he wasn't bitter. Saban hired Frank and a few of his coaches to work his football camp.

at everyone. Frank Wilson isn't going anywhere. He is loyal to coach O. These apparent recruiting violations that he is doing as well, please provide some proof. Otherwise, it is pure speculation. Also, the WR production has been better this year over last. Our WR are running crisper routes, getting off of press coverage better, and also understanding the holes in zone coverage.
As to the poster who claims that UT hasnt had a big WR recruit in awhile, Crompton was one of the SEC leaders in TD passes. He had to throw them to someone. As to the 2010 WR recruits....Milton, Ambles, Meline, Thompkins, yeah TERRIBLE.

I think you're talking about me. I was saying that I can't remember the last time, recruiting wise, UT picked up an incredible WR. It was a compliment to Wilson and him coaching them up. It's no secret that he's close to coach o, but he is also one of the lowest paid guys in the SEC. LSU could double his salary and he'd be at home.

You are correct on him being one of the lowest paid but UT will match it. Lane wants to keep this coaching staff together as long as possible. If coach O left, then I believe Frank would follow.

UT can't match when LSU makes him recruiting coordinator.
He is interested btw. Nothing is definite, but it is preliminary. Miles will interview about three other people.

UT's total coaches compensation is still 4th in the SEC. We have room to offer more. I believe he made 150K for 2009 with a raise expected for non coordinators this next season.
Do you know what LSU paid for their recruiting coordinator last year? If the numbers are close, I believe he will stay.

People repeating information they have read here, then spouting it again like its gospel. All recruiting is tinged. its the nature of the game. All you are going to get is third hand stories.
