Makes some sense. But, the burning bridges isn’t valid. And there is a world where he’s trying to generate a commitment to competing which will require money that isn’t yet committed.

Hypothetically it’s the date that Fla and LSU are willing to wait on.

Hypothetically, in the scenario where it’s not Ole Miss, the date gives him relief to get his team as prepared as possible to finish the season strongly.

you simply can’t conclude anything IMO. The biggest indicators is the behavior of the 3 buyers. That tells me nobody knows.
