re: Footballscoop reporting Texas officials headed down to meet Herman reps

Remember earlier today it was leaked that Herman given them a time frame to let him know and they didn't. Now they are in a cluster frick scrambling. This works out two ways. Either Herman is the next head coach of LSU, or Texas will make Herman the highest paid coach in all of football.

Herman doesn't want to deal with the bullshite that comes along with being Head coach at Texas. Can you imagine the bullshite that comes with being head dick incharge at fricking Texas??

Told you, Alleva gonna frick it all up. This will hopefully be the final nail in his useless fricking arse's coffin

What are they going to tell him? They still have a coach so they can't offer him anything. Ask him to wait a couple days just in case we fire our coach? I'd be insulted if I were Herman. frick that and take the deal in front of you.

LSU needs to go all in for a name on the line tomorrow in Memphis, as soon as the game is over.

And Aleva sent that EXPN reporter back down to the field. He had no comment and they said he was not happy she was up there in his box.

Looks like we need some hired guns on the Texas border

HEading where? Herman is in Memphis
Posted on 11/24/16 at 8:01 pm to DBU
Why can't they meet in Memphis?
Posted on 11/24/16 at 8:02 pm to rds dc
Herman's agent leaked it according to Twitter. We might be getting used by another agent.

Herman bout to get Harbaugh money
Posted on 11/24/16 at 8:04 pm to dbuchanon
So they're going to meet with Herman where? At the team hotel the night before a game? LOL
Posted on 11/24/16 at 8:04 pm to diehardfan
But why would anyone toy with a top five job?!?

So how is UT publicly meeting with Herman reps when they still have a coach????
Posted on 11/24/16 at 8:07 pm to tigerskin
UT doesn't have an open job, Houston plays at 11am tomorrow, Herman is at the team hotel. That's a real good look for UT.

Orangebloods ran with a source who's an assistant coach expecting to be on Hermans staff here.
Link? I have only seen this mentioned twice. If that's true you'd think people would be running with it.

If UT officials are on their way to Houston, I'm not sure who will meet them there. Tom Herman is in Memphis and his agent is out of state.

They are headed over and trying to meet Herman. Hold your horses boys!
It sounds like a group of boosters trying to gin up something. A lot like LSU and Fisher last year, smoke but nothing official. My post from the other thread:

We Need A Big Blowout Win For Texas
This more than anyone knows! A friends brother is a well connected lawyer in San Antonio and he claims there is a faction of boosters that will attempt a "coup" to place Herman as coach, if Texas goes down vs. TCU. The biggest thing working in LSU's favor is that there appears to be several internal camps fighting for influence. They range from keep Strong, to Herman, to other options (obviously, that isn't breaking info).
