Was Tyke confirmed on LSU Sports.net? I am just curious because O was reported in some of the media as the new D-line coach at LSU on New Year's Eve and that obviously didn't happen.

I certainly agree with that, but we have seen these things before through the years. Sometimes screwy things happen with coaches. I don't see why that we are hearing Gonzales is coming that suddenly everyone assumes that Tyke isn't even thou there has been no info saying that. Its very likely that both would be on the staff, seeings how Les is overhauling the offense.

How can't he be? Isn't it illegal to announce positions if they aren't available? DJ is gone, so that is one slot. Tyke was confirmed as WR coach but hes at Buffalo so that isn't official yet. So, LSU announces this guy as OC who in turn can coach WRs too, then goes and gets a QB coach when the slot is available? Tyke being left out?

I don't know about Gonzalez, but I really want Tyke Tolbert to become a coach at LSU in some capacity. He's an NFL coach who is also an LSU alum. Definite upgrade over current WR coaching.
