That’s a solid list! I do respectfully disagree with you on Riley. Despite the headlines being offense when it came to Spurrier’s and urban’s top teams, those teams were nasty on defense and physical upfront. That isn’t Riley‘s forte. And it has been enough of a problem at two different programs to question whether it’s just his nature.

They are back together and met in Gainesville. FIL QB’d for Gators and Kiffin has been outspoken on Gville being a special place for him. It’s not hard to research people.

There is a world where he would choose Florida because of an affinity for the school or whatever. I don’t think there’s any debating whether LSU is the better job because it clearly is. But there are coaches who prefer one job over the other and not because it’s a better job.

I think at the end of the day he stays in Oxford. But maybe pay attention to your comments regarding Kelly and think how that might apply to someone landing lane. Much like Kelly, Lane has never won the big one. He isn’t viewed as a strong recruiter. He has a mediocre at best record against ranked teams. He’s just younger, but one could argue on paper at least that Kelly was a better hire in 2021 then Kiffin would be this year.

My intuition says UF probably does get him, They are desperate and lets be real he is a perfect fit there.
