Career defensive line coach wants to meddle in offensive scheme and playcalling, but is OK with giving carte blanche control to his defensive coordinator.

O was a proven failure running his own defense. Guess he needs to learn the hard way that he is once again a failure when he meddles in an offense.

IMO could be a few things:
A) Canada wasn't his idea and he never trusted him.
B) Maybe Canada was Orgeron's hire, but they hated each other so much that their working relationship became toxic.
C) Aranda is hypnotoad and makes Orgeron chase his tail every time they are in the same room.

Because he trusts and respects Aranda. He may or may not be “meddling” on defense too.
