faith in our head coach and ad really.

OK...just have faith in our AD and his ability to make the right decisions. You know who's interested right now. What I can't get a read on is "if" Coach O is willing to take a position other than DC and will we pay him what he wants.

I was told that we've never been this close to actually getting BeBe on staff. He's made it pretty clear that he's interested so I hope it works out.

Does anyone know the details about his son? Is he a graduating Sr. and where is he going to school?

This website has the potential to be amazing over the next couple of football seasons.

The amazingness will get going early if we hire within or hire Stoops.

I'm not sure that "amazing" is the right word. If you don't have opposing sides to discuss LSU sports, things get boring pretty quickly. The overwhelming negativity that is taking over this board is a fricking downer. What's left after everyone has been convinced that it's OK to bash everything about LSU? I sure hope that our players don't read the BS that's posted on here. It concerns me to think that they could be influenced by a bunch of pussies who have obviously never (successfully) dealt with adversity.

I get what you're saying about the talent, but the 2008 D showed us competent coaching is still an absolute must as well, you can't just plug any a-hole in there due to our talent. That D had talent but the sideline was total fricking chaos.

And nothing rocks the stability of a program like the firing of a HC. Les isn't going to Michigan so we can all give up on that possibility. The other option for getting a new coach would include more pain and suffering than most of you have experienced to date. How many losing seasons have most of these nega-tigers experienced? If Les/Joe frick this up then a bunch of people will be very happy within a few years. They will both be looking for new jobs.

We could announce Kirby Smart tomorrow for 2.2m and some would call that a home run. After Bama's defensive performance last week could you really make that claim? He definitely has more talent than any other DC so does that make him better? We know that LSU will have a new DC and judging him before we see some results is just stupid. Whoever we hire I hope we give him a chance before calling for his head.

Typo fixed. You know Kirby's submissive...not defiant.
