Two days ago it was. Now apparently there are agreed terms for both and it's in Alleva and jimbo's hands. It's sounding more and more like the coin is going to land with Herman's head facing up.

Every year there are multiple threads ranking the head coaching jobs across the country and people always put the Horns in the top 5, sometimes top 3. There`s no doubt they have a lot going for them but they have a lot going against them as well.

One booster texted me earlier and said Herman's people gave Texas until midnight tonight to make official contact, and it's looking less and less like they are going to. Not making this up. He's been spot on many times in the past. Take it for what it's worth. No one knows anything more definite than that right now because there isn't anything more definite to report.

Confirmed from another source that apparently Texas indicated no interest in making formal contact with Herman by his midnight deadline, leaving him poised to accept LSU's offer. Strong may be given one more year.
