Dave Pollack just said that Tom Herman would be scary good at LSU! Paul Finnebaum agreed. They said that Texas is #1 on Herman's list, but at LSU, Herman would be in control of his own destiny with the talent and athletes there. Can this be real? I thought those guys hated LSU.

Pollack is an SEC guy who probably really believes that LSU is a better job because that's where he would rather go.

I agree. People ask why go and play Saban's team every year? Why? Because these top coaches are competitors! They want to beat the best.

We have more enemies that we can count...some within the very state borders of Louisiana. Snide grins from certain somebodys located in Lafayette, NE LA (a certain area), Uptown NOLA and few other places who would don Crimson, OM blue red and gray, Toolame Green or anything else.

Last night on ESPNu, in regards to Herman, Lugenville said he thought LSU and UT were comparable. Top tier teams with similar problems like bad Athletic Directors. Lugenville liked LSU because of the level and depth of talent.

A little paranoia is not a bad thing. But seriously no. From the folks in NE LA parading in your favorite team's colors just to get a risk out of the locals(country folks who don't like uppity business folks in Monroe La. who are LSU alumni) to Lafayette Rajun Cajuns who think their little regional school should be the state flagship school to influential Ole Miss alums in NOLA metro we have plenty of enemies in our own house. Then there is the ol' guard Tulane influence in New Orleans. Add nasty La. politics and you got a gumbo of demons to deal. Outside of the boot folks think everyone in La. is lock and in step with LSU. Just not the case.
