Currently going through North Texas games and I’m loving the duo. It would be risky but cheap. I’ll kick the tires if Kiffin stays in ole Miss.

Did you know Mestemaker never started a game at QB in high school….not sure how he would hold up in the SEC…

I just don’t see LSU taking that big of a risk…I still think they will swing for a big name

Who cares? He's eating up his current competition.

Very true and definitely risky. But I would love to see Louisiana athletes in that offense. Mestemaker’s quick release is elite.

I'd like to think yall don't get that far down the list. Its a difficult coaching carousel this season. Yall should be in pole position though.

Big names are overrated...You want someone that's going to work their arse off and not be happy with just one championship.

Not specific to Morris obviously but speaking generally, I’d rather a bright young coach, even a coordinator rather than established mediocrity

Kyle Trask was a two year starting QB for the UF Gators (2019-2020), had a 17-5 W/L record at QB, and was a 2nd round draft pick in the NFL. His sophmore through senior years of HS he was the back-up to D'eriq King and did not start a game.

The more I think about this, the more it makes sense. I wouldn’t hate this at all.

Neither saban nor miles were big time names when they were hired.

Ed O was known as a defensive mind but he bombed as a head coach before LSU
