I see the Ensminger promotion as another chance for O to try and buy another year after mediocre performance. He can blame it on an unqualified OC, fire and then try to make yet another hire. It's a sloppy hire and everyone knows it.

I thought Ensminger did quite well in the interim role. I'll hear an argument about getting shutout by Bama but there were open receivers that Etling just missed. Hitting them could have opened up the running game.

Yep. That’s why I take everything they say with a grain of salt. I have no doubt Ott falls into this category as well. As far as I know OTB rarely shares any new insight, potential candidates, etc. and just regurgitates what they hear.

Now that I think about it, I listen a bit most mornings and don’t think I have any idea what OTB does for two hours every morning Occasionally they have guests who have some good interviews but Jordy and T-Bob are kinda useless
