This time it is officially done. I texted a buddy who is friends with Ellis & asked if he was gonna be part of that staff. He said, they can't pay me enough (told you USM was some cheap bastards). Lol

I just posted same thought in the AU recruiting thread. he's looking for a job now. He'll cost a lot less than $1.3m per yr too.

As of now, I would think he's our #1 OC on the board. Chizik interviewed him last off-season when he thought Gus Malzahn would be leaving, and he knew no matter what, Malzahn wouldn't be there much longer.

This move will help USM get Anthony Alford. Word is they are going to hire Petal's High School coach and he is supposed to bring Alford with him.

I wonder who Petal will hire to replace Buckley? That's a really good job at Petal and they have the best facilities in the state.
