Why hasn't Les Miles said the two simple words that would end the drama? Is it because he enjoys being pestered about the Michigan job? Is it a way to leverage LSU for a sweeter deal? If your not going to Michigan, why not say it now rather than putting up with the B.S. to say it later? The silence is deafening and what it's saying is Les wants the Michigan job. Mean while Michigan dabbles in coach interviews for the sake of political correctness wait for December.

No words would end the drama. Too many coaches lie about leaving (including Les at OSU I think). There will be drama until the Michigan job is Les's or someone else's.

You answered the second question with your first. Without another job on the table, Les has has last weeks performance to bargain for a better contract with.

We get it, we get it...Les is going to Michigan.

It's the same kind of built up drama that lead to the villian in Scooby Doo to always be wearing a mask.

Start a thread about Saban or something...funny how he nevers comes up anymore after his awesome coaching job this year.

The deal is done and the news will break after the SEC Championship Game. Les will be heading to Michigan and SOS will be heading to LSU.

After this year LES will still have zero conference titles in D-1 football. Let him go. He made a potentially good team average. We have been lucky with game winning plays for the last three years. He's average at best. The media was laughing at this guy until the last 4 weeks saying that we are poorly coached and are winning in spite of our coaching. All of a sudden he's a genius.
