I'm just saying, common sense tells you whoever is making the final decision is going to let this play out. There's going to be private interviews and everything. I don't believe anyone was offered the job for one second.

You are probably right, but college football HC jobs are not like applying down at you're local business. Their abilities are well known and Alleva knows Damn well who he wants already

Im not sure Random ever claimed a contract had been drafted and been sent to Jimbo. The latest was that he had been in talks with LSU and the discussion was still in the infantile stage, at this point. This was a post from earlier today which coincides with the NOLA.COM article.
I'm not sure why OP is so upset about someone sharing info as he hears it. Most of what random has said up until this point was confirmed today by that article. Based on his past history i tend to believe he isn't an attention where and is just sharing what he hears from his connections as a friendly gesture.

You'd be surprised what people on this board know due to the sheer volume of posters. Sorting through the BS comes with the territory

Bro. It's a rumor. I've watched local papers drop ubstantiateed claims several times this season. Then ESPN follows suit because they are sourcing local media. I'm on point on this one. There is no source in this story. Just the author.
