Alleva already denied him a new contract.

wow. i have been one of miles biggest critics on here but i never really believed he'd ditch us for michigan. it's fun to joke about and all but i really believed he enjoyed being at lsu and wanted to retire here.

after seeing this video i am for the first time thinking he might actually leave.

devils advocate

He wants more money, and/or extension, and his agent told him not to say anything that could hurt his leverage like ruling out there is a top 25 team bidding for his services?

He could have answered. He just chose not to.

I'm hoping he's posturing for a bigger contract. I want him to stay.

I can't tell you how many times this happens when he is being interviewed. Is this the first time for you to see this from Les while being interviewed?

me too, 11-2 4 out of 6 years isn't bad. sure, some adjustments need to be made but we could be VERY good next year.

Good. He doesn't deserve a pay raise after a Cotton Bowl victory. He's a step ahead of our previous guard.

They'd probably back the Brinks truck up to his house and beg him to stay like many of the feeble minded on this board.

Then, after we spike the ball on 4 and 1 with 1 second left versus MSU, everyone would realize how stupid they were.

Born, I think it's more his continual dancing around the question multiple times.

It really only means that he's working on a contract negotiation likely or laying the ground work for one. It could be with UM but also redoing his contract with LSU.
