He's gonna have to sustain some success at a low tier program before someone gives him another shot at a big program given the way things went down in Tennessee and USC

I think his twitter trolling will take a lot of AD's out of the game. and his latest comments about giving up a safety to screw with the point spread may hurt him big time

I was just listening to Andy Staples and Tom Luginbill on my Drive home, and Staples asked in a somewhat sarcastic manner, “Does Jeff Long at Arkansas take a chance on Kiffin?” They both sort of laughed, and then the show went to break. He brings up an interesting discussion, IMO. Arky’s Most recent success came under Petrino, who ran an attractive gimmicky offense. Unless they bring in the most elite recruiter in the nation, it seems they need to run an offense like that...

I wouldn’t say it’s gimmicky in the same sense that Malzahn’s is, but it’s attractive to young kids, and doesn’t quite require the horses an offense like Bert’s does.

Nothing about Petrino's offenses at Arkansas was gimmicky. Power run down your throat to set up a lethal play action game. Their 2010 offense with Knile Davis rolling was awesome to watch.

Nope. There are plenty of good OCs Bama could have hired that aren't shitstains. I'm so glad he's finally gone.
