While Bama is a historic team, Saban is having to compete hard for his best recruits for all over the south.

But being in Texas, being able to get these Texas kids to stay in state? It feels like we are wishing for our destruction.
Not only Texas recruits too, but the influence to get Louisiana recruits seems like it would be stronger too.

Lol. Look around.

Not all of us are that shortsighted. It would be fun for all of about 8 months until we all realize ESPN was just giving handjobs at Bama. They'll full on deepthroat the man at UT. Mack fricking Brown was able to lock down top five classes at UT and hardly left the state. Do not want.

I really think him being at Texas would frick LSU hard.
This year, we have been heavily relying on Texas recruits to make up for the Louisiana recruits were are losing to Bama. Excuse me, the Louisiana recruits we are losing to Saban. That won't stop, but us sneaking Texas recruits would.

I think some programs have given up on beating Saban
So him leaving the SEC is the only option left for hope

Saban will get 1st pick on Julio Jones(Game Changers) type players the next 2-3 years at Texas, but some programs could handle this. Bama, LSU, and Texas A&M would feel Saban/Texas on the recruiting trail the most. Bama would to have some success right away to keep the good recruiting going, but Saban does lay one heck of a foundation, but it's up to you to keep it maintain.

I think Texas for Saban might be to good to pass up
It's the smart play if I'm honest about things

If Saban stays, it's a cherry on top for Bama
If he goes, we've had some good Sundaes

Of course, the meltdown on the SEC rant would be great.

The LSU meltdown is still going to be great when he stays.

We have a better shot at beating him at Alabama than almost every year in the playoffs while he commands the mighty UT.

I might help our recruiting in Georgia because Saban has definitely been taking some key recruits our of our state. As for Texas, since the Big 12(10) doesn't have a conference championship game, that could limit the potential of Texas in the minds of the new selection committee in picking the final 4 teams in the playoffs. Don't think that Saban isn't weighing all factors including this aspect, he is.

Why would it be easier for Saban to get Louisiana recruits at UT than at bama? It doesn't make any sense.

We don't play UT...so ofcourse it would be better if he left. And UT can only recruit so many players. You are waaaay over thinking this

So Saban being even closer to Louisiana recruits doesn't make sense?
Plus, north Louisiana seems to like Texas, at least from what I hear about them liking the state and the Cowboys.

He could fill his roster with 3, 4, and 5 stars and never leave the state. Saban isn't some 12 foot tall god. He didn't get every recruit he wanted at bama...he wouldn't do it at UT either.

In no logical scenario would Saban staying at bama be better for LSU
