Well for one he wouldnt have to work for a guy that was his underling just 2 months ago.
He also wouldnt have been passed for hc by a guy with far worse resume.

You cant sit here and say you wouldnt be upset if your dline coach got promoted to HC before you. Youre the coach that turned a very average defense back into a monster in 1 year. Not ed orgeron. Youre one of the best up amd coming coordinators, not ed orgeron. Its one thing when you work for ome of the most successful coaches in school history. Its a totally different thing to work for someone that has proven less than you and has never had success above being a dline coach. Last but not least, of he went to texas he would be ties to a coach that has proven he can run a successful program instead of being tied to someone that wasnt successful enough to keep the ole miss job.

Saban is actively telling recruits that Dave Aranda signed in pencil. It's getting traction in the methods of other schools as well. My Texas source says Tom Herman is telling recruits that Dave is an old friend, then he winks twice with his left eye.
