I mean tin foil hat and all, but it sure is strange to me how the leak was originally reported from a texas sight, then we wake up and all day they are trying to blame LSU people.

It absolutely is. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive. ESPN has a major interest in UT being a national power. Their only interest in LSU is that they are a storyline. Orgeron gives them a storyline.

They literally own something called The Longhorn Network, so it's completely in their best interest to make sure UT is as good as possible.

I do. They have an investment in the longhorn network and its good for them if Texas is relevant.

Fox is outright lying about what LSU has done and basically said we're a second tier program compared to Texas. its amazing

I think they omit info because they want the drama.

ETA: No media outfit reports the news anymore. Everything's a "story" and stories are better when there's a good guy and a bad guy. If the bad guy needs to be created even at the expense of innocent lives, they will do that.

Some how, some way, the Gumps are to blame too. If you can include them into your theory, I'm in.

Any network that has Texas games is in on it.

If Herman were a defensive minded coach, this isn't happening. The prospect of a fast, explosive offense in a market of ~27M televisions is too good not to promote.

It's about money. It's always about money.

Sure seemed like Brando was trying to influence. Is he an O fan and trying to help his buddy ?

Herman would be a fool to go to Texas.

I'll tell you this as soon as I saw them break that story and the way they went about sending a reporter to Joe's box it was just pathetic. They have agenda and I am so sick of it. God I hope Herman tell Texas to go to hell but something just tells me this was a set up. I just hope this if we get stuck with O, we get Texas in a bowl and we boat race that arse like there is no tomorrow.
