Where is that coming from. Isn’t he only making $2.5 now?

I think footballscoop is saying that though.

I just can’t imagine going all in on Cristobal.

You’re going to live or die by the hires and the on the field product is average considering the talent.

Napier is like a younger Urban Meyer. He has been my #1. And he can be had cheap right now.

Urban went undefeated at Utah and Bowling Green before coming to Florida. You can’t just toss that name around.

Are you hearing that’s what Auburn is offering or what Oregon is offering to keep him?
I’d be happy which him...for $4-5 million, not $7.5.
Of course what does it matter to me, I’m not paying his salary

If Auburn is going to pay Gus $21 mill to go away, they won’t blink at giving Mario $7.5 if that’s their guy.

Is he worth it? I think so. He’s an ace recruiter, which is what Auburn desperately needs. He’s an oline guy and Auburn needs oline in the worst way. He knows the SEC and has those Florida ties.

If nothing else he will load up the roster for the next coach.

No you go get Napier for almost half that

I’m always leery of supposedly can’t miss G5 guys, as the majority of them do. However, I would roll the dice for a lot less with Napier over playing that for Cristobal.

...Because of all this.

If we miss on Mario, then idk...throw money at Kiffin or Sark because they know offense and we've all seen what dynamic offenses can do. I don't know enough about Napier, but he seems to be the next up and coming guy so maybe he will chase the cash.

But money will not be an issue as proven by the stupid contract/buyout we just went with.
