Name a single thing Mason’s Vandy defenses have done during his tenure to warrant any consideration for the LSU DC position.

I just saw a tweet by AYS that implied that smoke! He do a hell of a job in 4 years slowing down Pac12 D’s at Stanford.

The bigger question is who do you expect to get to replace Pelini when you fire him after 1 season?

LSU pays its coordinators seven figures. Pelini was the second highest paid defensive coordinator in football and has the worst defense in modern history.

There isn’t a single candidate who would think twice about jumping on with LSU because of Pelini’s firing.

Fwiw, there is not an open DC spot at LSU.

Meanwhile, mouthbreathers like you bring up race each time he’s mentioned.
So no one has mentioned that having a black coordinator would help because he would be able to relate to the players better?

No, we weren’t saying that. No one was, I don’t care what color you are as long as you can coach your arse off! Mason looked great at Stanford as DC. AYS is a pretty legit insider on Twitter. He insinuated it, that’s why I posted it.

I wasn’t saying you specifically were the one who said having black coordinators would help with recruiting and relating to the players. It has been mentioned by others though.

Would be a good hire if Orgeron wanted a 3 man 2 gap defense.... but he doesn't so very unlikely.

Being black is the only qualification he needs according to a few here.

The fact that you led with the first quote and then clarified that the people you were referring to actually said the second quote speaks to how much of a clown you are.

Derek Mason had bad defenses at Vanderbilt and a lot of Vandy fans think he wasn’t the true architect of the Stanford defense he was touted to have designed and coached.

Those two quotes are nowhere near the same thing, which is why you are a total clown.
