Your point is well taken.

However, if we had beaten Florida, would the plan still have been "potential"? --even if the plan was to name O after a win over A&M?

And yes, this is assuming that Dellenger is not talking out of his arse. He may very well be.

But while we are in this maelstrom few days of rumor, innuendo, and press speculation, I just worry that Alleva put the big names on the back burner while waiting to see how the season would play out with Orgeron, then us getting left holding the bag.

I am desperately hoping Alleva pleasantly surprises me.

Hiring Coach O will be a huge fail so far as the coaching search goes. Maybe he will be successful, but how can anyone think that the ADept wanted to have O all along and just waited to fire Miles in mid season. What a joke if that is what Joe "Lacrosse" Alleva produces.
