Definitely not a bad hire. He is well respected in high schools across the state and should be a really good recruiter in Athens. In addition, his kids absolutely loved him everywhere he has been. Georgia Southern absolutely played their hearts out for him in their bowl game when he served as the interim HC.

Never heard of him, but I read the link and see that yall pried him away from Georgia Southern/Tulane so there's a very good reason I had no idea who he was.
