Keep it underwraps until hire is made and contract is signed. Anyone caught leaking at LSU should be fired immediately by Woodward for cause and sent packing.

I think everyone saw what we paid Pelini last year and what product we got out of that money and no one wants to come here for 1.2 - 1.9 mil.

Most people leak that kind of thing in private, so its gonna be hard ti fire someone for it. But then again, Orgeron confirms the leaks once a week with a when and who is interviewing

The Nielson news was broke by a NFL reporter. The leak was on the Saints end. I went on the radio a couple days later and confirmed they were still working on things to get Nielson. He never once said they had him like most people want to say for some reason.

Not getting Freeman or Nielsen pretty much assures disaster for LSU as they're are the only two DC's who would be capable of having success at LSU.

Like I said last night. This narrative is pure fantasy from this board and the people who are upset lsu didn't get their top two targets.
You and others promote the idea that lsu (O and/or W) are now clueless because they didn't get their first two choices. Yet there's actual reports saying lsu has been in contact with guys like Schumann.
They have a list. They went for their top guys and through no fault of their own they missed on those guys. Now it appears Schumann is in the mix with a couple others. So on to the next guy. That's how searches work. It's hilarious how some of you begged for O to keep quiet and when he does then he is clueless on who to get. Can't win with most of you on here

Nobody reputable wants to work for Coach O. That’s why you have to dig down at the bottom of the pot for “up and comers”. Nothing wrong with that but it’s the reality.
I said months ago the biggest issue will be finding people who want to be led by this goofball. You’re not learning anything from him so you better be strong on your individual merits and use the program as a spring board.

That’s ridiculous. There are a ton more variables. Depends on who the coach is for starters.
People just don’t want to hear O is a shite coach who 4-5 first round picks on offense, the number 1 overall pick, along with a single great offensive coach in Brady- won a National championship. He is Larry Coker.
