I think Woody has had his coach locked down for a month or more and it’s Chris Petersen but my second pick behind him would be Dave Clawson head coach at Wake Forest both of these coaches are in the “Jay Johnson” mold.

Not exactly, if it was Petersen, only reason it’s holding up is because of his Fox Contract.

I would have thought that as well. However, to avoid distracting the team, I could see Woodward waiting until after the aTm game.

Petersen was the first name I heard, but TigahJay is right. There is no reason to allow LSU’s search to “reset the market” if we already have our guy. I get that it makes things more expensive for the competition, but it would make things more expensive for LSU down the road.

Virginia Tech or Washington would be dumb not to even consider Clawson. He's a hell of a coach.
