Coached with Dave Aranda at both Hawaii and Wisconsin. Should already have a copy of Aranda's binder, but if not LSU already has it on file.

Your attempt at humor and satire falls woefully short. Keep you day job

Yeah. I forgot over half of this board wanted Aranda fired during his tenure here, even in 2019. So a disciple of his isn't wanted in Death Valley.

You either leave a hero (Brady) or stay long enough to see yourself become the villain. For LSU fans, this is the way

They did not overlap at Hawaii

Daronte Jones Interview
Here is a link to Daronte Jones on a podcast from 2017. Fun fact: He was accepted to LSU Law before taking the Bowie St job.

Sounds like a hard working guy.

The Bengals make a move with their coaching staff as they allowed secondary coach Daronte Jones' contract to expire without retaining him.
quote:
Jones led a group that seemed to underperform mightily. Jessie Bates failed to take a significant step after impressing as a rookie, William Jackson is still looking for that same 2017 magic and a unit that only created 10 interceptions (four of which were created by Darius Phillips). Phillip's is probably Jones' biggest claim to fame in 2019. He took the late round pick and turned him into an player who will likely play a pretty significant role for Cincinnati in the near future. However, it was too hard to over look how poorly the unit played as a whole.
quote:
Was it all on Jones? Absolutely not. Players like B.W. Webb disappointed, and he was handcuffed to a Terryl Austin defense in 2018 that was one of the worst in the NFL. It was still clear that the Bengals needed to move on from a few coaches this offseason after a very slow start to the year.
quote:
The Bengals secondary allowed the 21st most passing yards per game in 2019, and they have way more talent than for that to be acceptable. Bengals fans now have to hope whoever replaces Jones is able to tap into the talent that is on the roster. What do you think of the move to let Jones walk?

Just a little of what I could find about him. Apparently he is notoriously private. No LinkedIn, no Wiki, 42 years old, not married, and no kids.
