IF Canada were to leave.

Good pro style offense.

My only question is his ability to develop a QB.

Austin was shizze hot last year under Enos, but had no OL this year and paid the price

He helped develop Brandon Allen into one of the best QB's in the nation.

You are not winning a title with a Pro Style Offense let alone beating Bama. Besides, O wants a Spread Offense

You can go through my entire post history and not once see a post where I want spread. I saw what pro style could be with Mett. Thats what I want.

You do realize Bama would run what would be considered a pro style offense? The term spread is thrown around and labeled on everything. An effective offense can take on many different styles. We want to be innovative and adaptative, don’t care what you call it.

You are an idiot to say you can't win with pro style. There are many pro style offenses. The best are the ones that put the ball in playmakers hands at solve defenses. From my view, spread offenses are the new normal, and has limitations.

Pro style is terrible considering NOBODY runs this anymore at the high school level.

90% either spread to throw or spread to run. The other 10% run a mixture of pro style, single wing, wing-t etc....

Adapt to the frigging times man. Pro style offenses will make a comeback one day, but not now.

Pro style????? Why so lsu fans can bitch because there are no pro style studs coming out of HS.....EVERY YEAR!! if you want to beat Bama you better have a dual threat and some type of option offense, hybrid or otherwise.

Based on what I just said. High schools aren’t running it.

The pros run offenses that are the hardest to defend. If the wishbone could solve defenses they would run it. Take a look at the Steelhers, Patriots, Eagles, Chiefs, Packers, Saints, and analyze how they get the ball in players hands. They figure out how to beat elite defense- the spread option would be on the pros of it was the kost effective.

I 100% disagree.

Have you ever seen how retarded NFL defenses look trying to defend something as simple as zone read? Or other various college and high school spread variations?

NFL teams are always the last to adapt to what offensive football evolves into. They’re also not putting their franchise QB at risk doing a lot of things colleges and high schools do with their QB’s.

Bottom line, if you go pro style you better have 5 good arse linemen, a good QB, elite receivers, and an elite running back if you want to beat Alabama. Then it still might not happen. Look at the handful of teams that have beaten Alabama over the past 10 years. Tell me how many run a pro style offense.
