Am I not allowed to post information unless I'm the one who scoops it? So what if I got it from BOL?

Not surprsing. Saban tried to get him forever when he was here at LSU and Johnson was at da U.

Probably wants to start getting his feet in the door in Nola and the rest of LA. I know he's gotten some LA kids, but none that LSU recruited from start to finish.

This, of course, is provided Saban stays at Bama. He's never been anywhere longer than 5 years.

I hope not because I am a Saints fan but I don't see how this makes sense, going from a lateral position move only going from the pros to college. He is respected in the pros and I would think the money would be better in the pros.

i doubt this happens but I doubt it would make a dent in LA recruiting seeing how his inroads are at the same high schools as Frank Wilson's.

He's got to do something...not saying Curtis is the key. But what he's trying to do so far ain't working in terms of getting kids out of Louisiana.

I mean shite, he's getting a kick returner this year. Big deal.

I'd bet my 2 seats in the South Endzone that this doesn't occur unless Bama pony's up about 300,000 grand more than his current salary so if Bama is realistically gonna pay a WR coach almost 1 mill well then we can all just laugh.

Southern Lab is probably the only school in 1A that can pull it off because they actually schedule big boys.

It would be a good tactical move to weaken a SEC West rival in recruiting. He was pretty damn good recruiter when he was at Miami and he is a hell of a WR coach, IMO. One of the better ones in the game.

I don't see why he'd do this though. He has had a ton of success, someone will be calling him to move up soon.
