I'm already looking ahead to Aranda replacing the current head coach. He is cerebral, organized and meticulous. He understands defense like no other, so he knows what offenses are the most difficult to defense.

He would easily be able to retain key assistants on the defensive side, and he wouldn't hesitate to bring in a very productive, fresh staff of offensive coaches and keep the ones that would fit the new OC's scheme.

I have all but completely conceded that this is where we're headed. One more year of utter mediocrity we will have to endure before we can hit the reset button and start getting this thing on track. If we're lucky...

Current Off staff + hiring outside coordinator
Being an O-coordinator is more than just calling plays on gameday. Maybe these offensive gurus aren't impressed with our entire offensive staff and don't want to be reliant on them and hook their cart onto the Coach O wagon, which could go down in flames if he is not successful.

Careful there. Seems like some of those that monitor these post are rather fond of our gumbo cooking coach and protective of him
