fwiw gus's brother says this is gus's last season at auburn. but if he manages to win vs bama on saturday there's a 50/50 chance he stays. his brother told this to one of my family members the other day plus the family member I mentioned is good friends with the hortons. was told gus could end up at florida or A&M, arkansas isn't a lock.

was told all this at thanksgiving today.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious

your doubt is understandable.

gus has family in conway arkansas. the hortons have family in conway arkansas. my family lives around conway. there's no chance my family interacts with gus's family or the hortons family.

Gus is good friends with spurrier. Old ball coach may be pushing him for the Florida job. I’m not sure about A&M.

Imagine the cult like fit with A&M. Like a glove

Is Gus seriously into cults? I hadn't heard that. Please elaborate. If so, then A&M genuinely might be a fit. We're definitely a cult - but a positive one like Tony Robbins instead of a bad one like Jim Jones.

Ahh so is Ronnie more of a Joel Osteen type or more of a John Hagee type?

I'm trying to determine Gus' cult fitness for A&M based on Ronnie's style.

Osteen is more like a Longhorn fan. Fake, smug, extremely punchable, doesn't believe anything he himself says, basically criminal.

Hagee is more "A&M" - uncouth, extreme, apocalyptic, foaming at the mouth, super duper far right.

If Gus leaves Barn he’s going to Arky. I don’t see him wanting to coach at an A&M

I'd say more Oral Roberts, with a dash of Jimmy Swaggat.

I have sinned........

Why would Gus leave Auburn?

Is there a lot of friction between him and some boosters or their administration?

If we’re discussing cults, then Mullen is the man for A&M. He’s already a follower of L Ron Hubbard. Would be a much better fit for the cult culture at A&M.

Malzahn eats Waffle House after football games and his name is Gus — he’s made for Arkansas.
