I tihnk he spends a couple more years at Tech and really turns that ship around. Major BCS schools will be knocking on his door then.

State just seems like a place that a coach goes to kill his career.

Yeh, you may be right- not to mention that StarkPatch is NOT an easy place to recruit kids to come play. In StarkPatch, there is a BBQ joint and a Wal-Mart, and, uhhh, errrr, hmmmm...I guess that's my point exactly

If he can have Tech competing for the WAC title by 2010, he will be one of the hottest commodity coaches out there.

Starkville is just not the place for an up and coming coach.

I'd rather see him stay at Tech another year or two then come to LSU to take over for Les.

He is my early pick without thorough vetting but...... Greg Byrne has yet to ask me what I think. Not enough Bulldog Club points I guess.

No way he goes there. Can't win and would kill his coaching career.

Well then we don't want him if he's skeered.

Ruston isnt bad... its only about 30 from monroe which may not sound too intriguing but its only about 50 minutes from shreveport... plenty to do in that area.

I've lived in both Starkville and Ruston. Starkville wins over the shite hole that is called Ruston IMO.
