Woodward is able to reel in Lincoln Riley and then he goes out and brings in Glenn Schumann from Georgia to be his DC. This would be a scary combination of youth on both sides of the ball and recruiting ability on both sides. Would be a nice change of pace from the last two regimes.

Your dream coaching scenario involves hiring a head coach who doesn’t choose and hire his own defensive coordinator?

Dream season is we run the table, upset UGA in the SECCG, enough chaos happens to get us in the playoff, we win, and we still fire O.

Vince Lombardi as HC with Bill Walsh as OC and Bill Belichick as DC. Since we're doing dream scenarios.

I'll tell you what, change Lincoln from being the head coach to me and that is my dream scenario.

Can you see a scenario where a AD could assist the new head coach in grabbing a very desirable assistant?

of course, the new coach needs to make his own decisions, but if the AD said, hey I can get this awesome coordinator if you are interested....
