It’s a tale as old as time. Bottom line, you have to see more from Dave Aranda. (not saying he won’t be great) Hell, I don’t want Mel Tucker either BUT, at least he re-built a program with his players. If we fall to Tucker, Aranda or Napier, we have bigger issues.

They’re both 2 years out and Michigan State wasn’t exactly elite when Tucker took over

Baylor was better under Rhule.

Of yeah, Aranda is riding high on all those 3-star recruits that Rhule left him. In the 4 years before Aranda got there Rhule pulled in a total of 9 4-star recuits (no 5-stars) and his best finish (247) was 29th. That's not a bunch of talent to work with.

I don’t know what Baylor averages as far as recruiting rankings go but i’d assume it’s well below 29….. so you agree. Rhule left Baylor in pretty good shape. I’m not saying he can’t do it, all i’m saying is he probably will need to prove it before he gets a bigger job.

That’s exactly what i’m saying, at least Tucker has shown he can completely retool a roster. That said, same boat as Aranda for me, not yet.

I don't agree that Rhule left Baylor in pretty good shape. Barely cracking the top 30 in recruiting on his best year and a roster filled with 3-star players is not leaving Baylor in pretty good shape. That leaves Baylor as a middle of the pack Big 12 team. Aranda isn't winning because of Rhule's players. Hell I don't think Rhule was winning because of Rhule's players.
