Exactly. People forget about all of the responsibilities that a head coach has in the off season that prepares the team for a great start to the next season. Keeping players out of trouble, in class, talent evaluation, recruiting, managing staff, and many more. As an interim you get to step in and maintain a system that has already started churning for the season. Not saying that is an easy task but it's definitely not like starting from scratch

Yep. It's basically coaching games vs. running a program.
Coach O has proven he can take over as interim and do well. That doesn't prove at all that he can run a program. His history - 29 of 32 years coaching as a DL coach, and 3 years of failure as HC - doesn't show running a program.
Does LSU really want to put their eggs into that basket?

Judging a Coach with bad resume and on 6 games is not what LSU should do. He lost 2 games in those 6 games. People who want coach O to be HC are emotional and he has not shown anything to warranty the job.

Frustrating when people feel they need to shite on the guy just because they want someone else to be head coach.
He kept the season from going completely down the toilet. Respect. I hope they can keep him on staff.
