Coach O at another SEC West program....

This perspective sums up the entire Coach O debate. LSU fans would not be worried if Coach O ended up at another SEC West program, but how we would feel if Herman or JImbo ended up in the West? If Jimbo or Herman ended up another SEC west school, it would make life harder for LSU to navigate the SEC. Don't feel the same if O was to take over at one of those schools.
LSU fans are blinded by emotional and familiarity bias. Love Coach O, but he's not the future.
Also, gtfo with "give him a 2 year contract and see what he does."

I would be more worried about another team in the west having Herman or fisher over Orgeron and I'm sure even O lovers would too

I think it's funny all the people melting over who the Coach is going to be. I get we are more than interested who it will be, but some come on here like you are trying to convince fans not to hire someone.

I think its highly likely that Jimbo follows Saban at Alabama if he doesnt come to LSU first. Will be between him and Dabo so i think thats all the more reason to give him a good hard look.

I'm not as anti-O as some but what % of fans would you say want O over Jimbo and Herman without finding out if those 2 will come? Because that's a ridiculous option, we have to see what is out there.

If Coach O wins out people on here would probably still want him over Belichick and Saban.

No problem with discussing who the coach should would or may be.....that is what this site is for. It's the childish attacks when someone has an opinion about someone they may not agree with that's stupid.

You are absolutely right Francis from Scott LA. But what if:
A) Jimbo says no and Herman goes to Texas instead? Who do you hire at that point especially if:
B) Coach O wins out and gets us in the SEC title game?
There are a lot more variables than just saying I want this guy. It doesn't work out like that. Your best bet on having someone other than Coach O being head coach is Herman or Jimbo coming and/or Coach O dropping two or more games.
