Just watched the press conference. Damn, got the feels. The guy bleeds purple, through and through. I really didn't think this would happen. I did not want the guy to be the OC. However, you really see how much he wants this and how hard he will work. I think he will do everything he can to make our offense better. I will give the guy a chance. I really wonder what kind of O he will run.

Unfortunately, nothing but political BS. I've come to look at out coaches as nothing more than politicians.
Sorry for the dismal outlook, but it all looks like BS to me.

It might be political, however, you can't tell me Coach E isn't an LSU guy and that he doesn't want this to work. He's going to do everything he can to make this work. You have to look at the positive side of things once in awhile, even when things are bleak. I don't think next year will be great, but I do have to have a little hope. Otherwise, I'd become miserable like the rest of you =)

Johnny Jones loves LSU. Let’s bring him back.

Love for LSU isn’t nor should it be a qualification.

Mother fricker, y'all are getting duped by the "he's one of us" bits again. Jesus Christ.

There isn't a single good OC in the country who "wouldn't want this to work" if they were hired here. THATS THEIR frickING JOB

I'm guessing most of the posters on here bleed purple and gold-maybe we should have held tryouts if that was the sole criteria?

no, he was crying because he knows this announcement very likely effectively ends his career and his time at LSU on a very sour note if it goes south. (as most expect it to)

the tears were because he just signed up for forced retirement unless he can turn this team into contenders in 1 year which is very unlikely
