For those of us who don't spend every hour on this board, why is everyone laughing at the OP?

And after being here for one year and making himself available for another job....he should be fired immediately.

Would not miss 3rd and Chavis but still think its shitty.

Because Tigerdroppings.com includes a helpful search function that rantards are too stupid to use.

This is actually knew to me as well.

Wasn't the press conference today?

If he really is side stepping those questions then I'd be inclined to think something is up. I hope LSU doesn't throw more money at him. He's had 1 fricken year. He actually made our defense respectable, respectable doesn't deserve a raise. There are many other DC's that can do the same if not better job. He doesn't deserve a raise period.

I wish he'd decide already so we can start shortlisting candidates here on TD.com. If we don't, who will?

Would Ed Orgeron be a good replacement?

Agree. Fire Chavis' a** immediately and go get the TCU guy before its too late.

Also go ahead and see if we can get Mike Leach while we are at it and then we will be set for as long as those two guys are running their side of the ball.

Meanwhile Les can just go on being our stupid/funny quote machine figure head that we can love "cause he's ours" while thanking God we have competent staff doing the real work.

PLEASE FIRE CHAVIS (if he is really considering leaving LSU)

Not just no but frick no.

Number one: he burned his bridges at LSU with that stunt he pulled last year.

Number two: Orgeron as a coordinator would be a nightmare.

I'm not saying YOU do--you're just asking a question--but I am flabbergasted at those who want Chavis gone and then are slavering over O.

Orgeron? Be real - that guy has been hating LSU ever since he wasn't offered an LSU scholarship. Wasn't it Orgeron who helped Joe McKnight go to USC? Orgeron is a USC lover. We don't need no stinkin' USC lovers on LSU's staff.

As for 3rd-and-Chavis, he shouldn't be rewarded for playing hop-scotch. Let's get some hungry up-and-comer. Find the next Bo Pelini. Or the next Nick Saban (y'all havta admit he is a helluva D coach).

Sure, the world is looking for the next Saban, but these things are not obvious.

It is like the studio that was bought by the Japanese and sent their execs over there for the annual meeting. The exec said we will make 20 movies this year. Five will make big money. Five will lose a little, and ten will break even.

One of the Japanese raised his hand and asked. "Why don't we not make the five that will lose money?"
