Just trying to get an opinion on the guy. He was at LSU a couple yrs so I'm trying to get a little insight on him. Also coached on both sides of the ball at Bama and from what I hear, most of the Bama people were pleased with him when he was there. Not sure if Croom made the right choice here or not but its prolly harder to get a high profile coach to come to MState with the smaller salaries they pay. What ya'll think?

Please take him and keep him away from Bama.
Horrible position coach. Coached receivers at Bama last. His best coaching line was "catch the ball!!!" after a drop. It used to drive me nuts.
He recruited B'ham. You think you could recruit New Orleans for LSU? Exactly.
Below par coach.

For a long time no one could. He is a defensive coach, which might be why he sucked as an offensive coach.

Yep, why in the hell would the head coach put him on the offensive side?

Good coach with a good resume. Croom did very well getting this guy. He can coach and recruit.

About par for a Bammer boy to say he's sub par since he aint at Bama any more
No, I was saying it everytime he was here.
About par for Moo State to take our sloppy seconds coaching staff. You couldn't even hold onto them. See Ellis Johnson.
Good to see y'all take football seriously over there. I hope you enjoyed the past two years.

Its all in good fun there 68, just pickin at ya man.
I asked for opinions on the coach and you gave yours. Don't even start on the sloppy seconds thing.
I have enjoyed the last two years by the way. It aint no secret that we don't beat Bammer all the time. I'm happy gettin a few from time to time.
